Golf Digest Top-50 Instructor Andrew Park is pleased to announce Andrew Park Performance(APP) Golf, a full-time, two semester training schedule for the dedicated golfer looking to improve and prepare their skills for college and beyond. The program is designed for junior players ages 12 to 18. APP Golf features a flexible schedule, private school for academic achievement, and access to junior tournaments throughout the school year as well as a complete improvement program.
Andrew Park Performance Golf is located at Orange County National Golf Resort in Winter Garden, Florida. Orange County National features a 42 acre practice facility, large putting practice surface, numerous short game practice areas, a unique nine-hole executive course called the Tooth, two 18-hole championship courses and is home to FlightScope Performance Center.
“We have developed a comprehensive junior program that covers every important facet in the game of golf to make junior players championship golfers.” says Park. “We have spent a lot of time developing and thinking and club fitting to solid swing fundamentals and mental and physical specialized training.”
Originally from South Africa, Andrew was selected to play on the South Africa Junior National Team for both baseball and golf. He decided on golf and after numerous accomplishments as a youth, came to the United States to attend college and continue his golf career. After limited success as a playing professional, Andrew joined David Leadbetter Golf School in Florida and rose in the ranks to Certified Instructor, Master Certified Instructor and finally Director of Instruction & Director of David Leadbetter Academies Worldwide. For the year 2017-2018, Andrew was chosen a Top Teacher by Golf Digest. He is an Advisory Board member for FlightScope and Golf Channel Instructor both here in the USA and in China. Andrew was just selected a Top 100 Golf Instructor by Golf Magazine.
Andrew has teamed with Patrick Leahy, a 30 member of the PGA of America and golf teaching specialist who has worked with many of the nation’s elite junior players. Andrew’s wife, former LPGA player Seol-An Jeon Park, excels with junior instruction and personalized private lessons. According to Seol-An, APP Golf works with many young and upcoming LPGA and Symetra Tour players, designing specific instruction to match the students abilities and weaknesses. They do not try to re-invent the player but enhance their ability to play golf. Andrew has worked with Amy Yang, Sandra Gal, Sun Young Yoo, Shenshen Feng, and Andy Zhang.
APP Golf includes housing, meals, transportation, selected elite junior tournaments, daily instruction, physical training regiment, a 2-1
teacher/student ratio and college recruitment consulting.
